AAVEC doctors may refer your pet to any of these in-house specialist groups should your pet's condition require the attention of a board-certified specialist.  While transfers to and consultations with specialists are quite routine on weekdays, access to specialists cannot be guaranteed at all times due to their prior engagements.  This is because most specialists conduct their business during traditional business hours on weekdays, and each specialist veterinarian has already committed to pre-scheduled appointments with other clients.  Specialist consultations are conducted between and sometimes after their regularly-scheduled appointments.

Specialists are only summoned to AAVEC after hours, at the discretion of the attending emergency veterinarian, in extreme life-threatening situations.  After-hours specialist consultations cannot be guaranteed.  To learn more about each CVRC veterinary specialist group and the outstanding services they provide, please click each service's link on the sidebar.
