AAVEC doctors may refer your pet to any of these specialist groups should your pet’s condition require the attention of a board-certified specialist.  While both transfers to and consultations with specialists are quite routine during the week, access to specialists cannot be guaranteed.  This is because our specialists conduct their business during normal business hours on weekdays, and each specialist veterinarian has already committed to pre-scheduled appointments with other clients.  Specialist consultations are performed between and after their regularly-scheduled appointments.

Specialists are only summoned to AAVEC after hours, at the discretion of the attending emergency veterinarian, and only in extreme life-threatening situations.  After-hours specialist consultations cannot be guaranteed.  To learn more about each veterinary specialist group and the outstanding services they provide, please click each service’s link on the sidebars.
